Paxil (or Peezil as we call her) is now 14 years old!! I still remember the kids being little and yelling out, "Mom, Motorboat is in my bed!!!" She still purrs louder than any other cat I know!!!
Got home early again and these sweet pronghorn were hanging out at the fence line....waiting for me!!! Several Males and Females this time!!! I Love the Exotic Look of the males and their horns!!!
This one was taken in the morning as the sun was rising, and the moon was setting!! It is so beautiful to see them at the same time, it's too bad my camera can't catch the East and the West Simultaneously!!
I called Art on my way home as I was watching this amazing sunset that looked like lava flowing overhead!! It changes
so quickly I was worried I'd miss it!! He was looking at the same amazing sky that I was!! Now we can share it with you!
Another Amazing Sunset!! I keep waiting for the day that I'm driving home and realize, "Wow, the day is getting Longer Again!!!"
At this time, I'm watching the sunset as I drive home....hoping I will be able to capture part of it with my camera!!
We were supposed to get a few inches of snow overnight....and the snow clouds definitely came in, but they left and took the snow with them!! It ended up being a fairly sunny day!!! :)
It's hard to see, but the sun and clouds are surrounding the Moon!! I am forever in awe of the beauty of his creation!! It's humbling to me to get to see such beautiful sunsets daily!!! Driving home at night, I have K-Love music to worship, and these beautiful sunsets...sometimes I don't feel deserving of this!!!
Oh My Goodness....it was so nice to be home for the entire sunset!! It changed so many times, I had a really hard time choosing tonight! The Color Palette of Nature is Spectacular!!
Today is another Summer Flash Back!! This is a picture of the "Machine Gun Fire" that occurred this Summer. The Base behind us was target shooting and started a fire!! This picture is from our upper level deck....it was pretty close and Art, Jay and I were trying to decide What we should start grabbing before we ran!!!
Another Glorious Sunset!! I watched it the whole way home crossing my fingers that I could get to my camera in time!!! Happy Friday Everyone!!! I hope your long weekend is a beautiful and this sunset!!!
Here are 2 female pronghorn...they seem to be looking at me saying, "really, this is all we have to eat?" Poor things, looks like it's time to start buying some horsefeed like we did in Evergreen!! They are really beautiful animals and almost hop, instead of run!!
So...this is not a picture today...but it is a backyard picture!! I have come to the conclusion that the continuous freezing weather is looking the same day after day!!! This sweet face is the face of summer!!! Although the cows are still around, they don't tend to come as close!!
P.S. Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Sister Rena!!!!
It's a faceoff!! Maybe Budweiser should use this for their Superbowl commercials!! The Pronghorn really wanted the cows food...and they didn't seem to mind!!! Look how tiny the pronghorn are in comparison!!
He's such a happy puppy in the snow!! He was freqking out just a little because I was trying to get some close up pictures!!! He turned and ran the other way, then came running back!! Silly Puppy!! I hope his new little brother does better with Photo Shoots!! lol!!!
So, I remember my parents saying "Red Sky at Night, Sailors Delight....Red Sky in the Morning, Sailors Warning". I wonder if there is a different saying for the mountain skies!?!? We seem to have a red sky in the morning or night on many occassions!! Should I be warned or delighted??
There were Pronghorn in the backyard this morning...and deer in the afternoon!!! Heisman was going crazy wanting to go play!!! He can't wait for his puppy brother to get here!!! We also appear to have a "herd" of bunny tracks in the yard!!! Luckily, Art is joining in this blog as I leave before the sun comes up...and get home after the sun has gone down!!
